Depending on the model, we have several different blade options. Tucker Sno-Cat® rear engine models most commonly require blades for either snow trails and/or traversing cross country. Steep side hills and large snow drifts can be dangerous without a blade. Tucker SnoCat® designs and manufactures several different hydraulic configurations and widths. The 8’ width, 6-way hydraulic functions U-Blade is used on basic groomer and utility vehicles. When grooming snowmobile trails, the large 12-way blades are a critical tool. This blade is commonly referred to as an “all way blade”, meaning 12-hydraulic functions work to shape, mold and/or remove snow from the surface. It’s not uncommon to see this option in narrow 8’ widths and as wide as 12’ when dealing with large amounts of snow in the western states.
