Winter will be here before you know it, so now is the time to make sure your Tucker Sno-Cat® is ready for the season ahead. A little preventative maintenance now can help keep your machine running reliably when the snow arrives.
Start by checking the batteries and making sure they are fully charged, clean, and in good condition. Cold temperatures can be hard on batteries, so addressing weak or aging batteries before winter can save you from unexpected downtime. If your Sno-Cat® will be sitting between uses, consider using a battery tender to help maintain the battery’s charge and keep it ready to go.
It’s also a good time to check antifreeze/coolant levels, engine oil, belts, hoses, and other critical components for wear or damage.
Taking care of these items before the first big snowfall can help ensure your Tucker Sno-Cat® is ready to work when you need it most.
