As Spring nears, and the season winds down, now is a great time to schedule your
Sno-Cat® vehicle for Summer service. If you are a DIY, put your suspension system
at the top of the to-do list. The following is a check list we highly recommend adding to
your end of season:
- Make sure U-bolts and Nylock nuts are torqued to recommended specifications.
- Inspect high nuts.
- Double check the clamp plate is not loose or bent.
- Make sure compression pads are not loose or cracked.
- Torque U-bolts every 12 months.
Note: 175 foot lbs. for 3/4” diameter U-bolt & 150 foot lbs. for 5/8” diameter.
